End of the Year Highlights

The end of the academic year is an exciting time and packed with events recognizing our students and their academic accomplishments! This post features a collection of photos from our Annual History Department Dinner on April 19, the CLASS Scholar dinner on May 2 and Commencement on May 11.  Congratulations to our Department award winners, Phi Alpha Theta inductees and the CSU Class of 2013!

Annual History Department Dinner
The History Department holds a dinner every Spring to honor our student award winners and Phi Alpha Theta Inductees.  This is one of my favorite department traditions.  Our department Chair Elizabeth Lehfeldt shared the history of each award and then each student was introduced by a different faculty member.  This year, Kevin Payne received the department Social Studies Award. Congratulations Kevin!
Anthony DiFranco received the William I. Shorrock award and was featured with Marjorie Shorrock in the Summer 2013 CLASS Innerlink newsletter. You can read about the history of the Shorrock scholarship in Marge’s own words in her interview.
