From Nadine Grimm of the Education Service Center of Cuyahoga County:
Dear educators and friends of global education:
The ESC of Cuyahoga County invites you to its Global Café lunch and program on Wednesday, April 13th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with 19 international secondary teachers, who are participating in the International Leadership in Education Program (ILEP) through Kent State University. Join us for a light lunch at 11:30 a.m., with the program “People on the Move” following. You will have an opportunity to learn from and share about their countries and cultures with the secondary educators from Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Mexico, Morocco, Senegal and the Philippines.
We are pleased to collaborate with the KSU Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education on what has become an annual Global Café at the ESC. There is no cost for this program, but registration is required. Please see the attached flyer for information, or go to www.esc-cc.org, Professional Development, Calendar of Events for April 13th, and follow the registration directions for the Global Café.
Contact hours will be awarded for the program. This is a great opportunity to meet personally with these global education leaders and to learn about the exchange opportunities through ILEP. Please share the invitation with your colleagues and friends. We look forward to seeing you on April 13th at the ESC of Cuyahoga County, 6393 Oak Tree Blvd., Independence, OH 44131. Please contact me if you have questions at nadine.grimm@esc-cc.org or 216-901-4243.
