Liberation and Rebuilding after Auschwitz: A Workshop for Educators

Join us on April 14 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and Bergen Belsen concentration camps. Tour the temporary exhibit, Unlocking the Gates of Auschwitz 70 Years Later and learn the history of Auschwitz from two individuals who experienced its horror, rebuilt their lives and have dedicated their lives to sharing their stories with the community. Holocaust survivors Bella Ouziel and Werner Coppel will share their testimonies.

 

This workshop will provide the opportunity to learn Bella and Werner’s stories and discuss how we can bring these important testimonies back to our students.
